About the special experience

This morning we have a discussion at the UC with many different countries' sturdemt. I feel so excited because I don't think that I have another's opportunity like this. It's truly amazing!Although I don't know every single word, but I have tried my best to do the note taking. The topic of our discussion is about the racism in whole world. I figured out that many countries got the problem of language. And we should try to say something,we can't afraid to be the voice. We should to find a way being a voice, act for people. Participating in our own nation is also important.

"The aim of argument, discussion,debate should not be victory, but progress." means no matter the results of the argument is winning or not, the most important thing is that what you learned during the argument. For instance, when we join the race game with our classmates, we always practice together, and we are truly have fun. Thus, the victory is not the most important thing, we should focus on what we learn. During the game, we are not only improve our social skills but also built the  cooperative relationship.

About the TOEFL test

I just heard my classmate talk about the TOEFL test on this morning. He said that the listening test need more notes-taking skills. Although we just learned the skills of Cornell notes-taking last week. I don't think that I can get good grades because after the notes-taking is summarized. I'm nervous now. I guess I should spend more time for studying.

About helping someone

Last Sunday, I went to Manhattan with my friends. We bought many stuffs on that day. After we finished the shopping, we went to the Penn station to take train to back home. At the moment, I saw an old woman carrying a heavy stuff when I was climbing the stairs. Then, I helped her to carry the stuff without thinking too much. She smiled appreciately at me. I felt so good to help her.

Organized or disorganized?

I'm very organized with my bedroom, especially my desk, but my time and my work are a little disorganized. I always have everything in certain place thus  I can find everything easier. That's sounds good, but I always waste many time to be relax. I'm disorganized with my time and my work, every time I decide to do some work on my free time, I messed up . For instance, I planned to read a novel last week, but I read only three pages, and I watched the soap opera to instead it. How terrible it is! I think I have to plan a time schedule and try my best to follow it.

I think the most significant invention in the last hundred years is smart phone. With the development and popularity of the smart phone, it brings as more convenient new life. Many people can't live without it. The most fundamental person in my life is my sister. She always accompany with me. No matter I was happy or sad, we always share our emotion with each other. We are not only sisters, but also the best friends.

To imagine that i meet my favorite television stars, I think I won't do anything. Maybe just take some pictures. Because I am too shy to ask he/she give me a hug. When I ride on the subway, I always put my bag next to me, but I'll look around if someone want to have a seat. I think it depends on how many people on the subway. If there have many people on the subway, and it must be rude to put bag next to your seat.

I will allow myself to travel the world with my husband and my children after I retired. Traveling withe someone you really love is very sweet things. I think the close friend can be someone you don’t see often but for various reasons you have a high regard for. It’s someone you cherish, think of fondly, and no matter what you do or where you are in your life, you’d drop everything and be there at their side if they needed you. I love to have interests and opinions that are identical with my close friend. Because she is my close friend, so she knows me. We can share everything with each other because of we have the same feelings.

Making handmade card is my hobby. I love making cards for family and friends because I can create the feeling I have in my head for that particular person. I love the smile when they receiving my card. I'm not really like to do exercise. I prefer to make card at home. In my country, many people like to go jogging or ride bicycle. I think go jogging and ride bicycle is not about genetic. Surely there must be some limit, but you just have to keep doing what you want to do. Of course, everyone can do it.

I come from Taiwan. I'm Taiwanese. The shape of the main island of Taiwan is our symbol. I think  it's just like a potato. Our flag has a red backdrop and blue sky with a white sun. Taiwan is a friendly country.  Almost everyone have more and more possion, include me. I'm an optimistic and cheerful girl.  If you see me, I always smile. Even I get some trouble, I won't give up to fix the problem. I'll bring my smile to face everything. Remember that your smile can make your life more beautiful.

All human beings share the same longings, to know and be known, to hold and be held, to love and be loved. What incentives would motivate me to make a significant change in my life? I think that must be someone I really love and he loves me, too. If he encouraged me to do something and give me more confidence, I will change myself for him. I believe that love can change everything. I have a strong bond with my boyfriend. I'm fortunate to meet him in my life, we never take out the bad emotions with each other. Love is always be patient and kind. I truly value the time and energy spent on expanding our relationship.

Every job have a lot of integrity to do well. For example, if you want to be a staff of coffee shop, you must keep coffee beans fresh, and take responsibility for your clients. If I were given $100,000 to start a foundation, I would start to learn how to make a perfect cup of coffee. Maybe I would join some training classes. I hope I can have me own coffee shop. In my coffee shop, people can use their laptop 、read some novels or just relaxing and enjoying a cup of coffee. It's well-known that coffee is one of the most popular drinks in the world. If you wish to stay awake, you can have a few cup of coffee, but it isn't a healthy way. Remember that you can't always rely on coffee for energy to start the day.
